Join us at Eisei-en Kyoto Bonsai Garden for a special two-day exhibition celebrating the intersection of bonsai, ceramics, and contemporary art.

Featuring the bonsai creations of Bjorn L. Bjorholm, the expressive bonsai ceramics of Nao Tokutake, and the captivating paintings of Spanish artist Nil Marqués, creating an unexpected dialogue between nature, craftsmanship, and artistic expression.

Together, these three artists explore the boundaries of their respective disciplines, offering visitors a unique opportunity to experience bonsai in a new light—where living trees, sculptural ceramics, and contemporary painting converge in a shared space.

Visitors will have the opportunity to acquire original works from all three featured artists during the exhibition, including bonsai by Bjorn L. Bjorholm, unique ceramics by Nao Tokutake, and original paintings by Nil Marqués.
