I am very new to the art of bonsai. I picked it up during the winter of 2020. I started with a small ficus just to try and keep a plant alive. Truth be told, I killed my first bonsai (mallsai is more accurate) over a decade before 2020. Having kept the ficus alive I dove into the art and began learning via YouTube which is how I stumbled upon Bjorn and many other talents. I now have a few junipers and a zelkova.
