Help with Verticulum Wilt

I have had 2 air layered deshojos die on me this spring spontaneously, wilted then droped the leaves. Threw it out with the soil. Now the rest of my maples only had their tops sprout and the rest of the buds on the bottom are still dormant. Any luck saving these with fungicides?
