Peg grafting came up last night in the Q&A, and thought people might be interested in some images/info I have some images of Ebihara executing the procedure, but the best explanation/demonstration I have found was executed by Urushibata (see attached PDF). I found this PDF online somewhere so there seemed no harm in sharing it here too, but please keep it between our group ? I also attached some images I found online of Ebihara shortening a tree by removing a middle-section and re-attaching the apex to the lower portion of the tree -- this is basically a peg graft used for apex relocation as opposed to branch relocation And then I attached some other fun images of mature branches floating in the air, as well as closeups of the male/female sections of the peg graft
